Fill Your Heart Gardens Garden Design – Advice - Lessons
Everyone’s idea of garden happiness is different, and I will work with you to help you get the garden YOU really want – whether that’s a brand new vision and design, new ideas for a neglected corner, or just a planting plan to bring new colours and shapes to your existing space.
I also offer fun and informal gardening lessons, in your own garden, to develop your confidence and understanding or help start you on a new gardening hobby! And I love helping people create kitchen gardens full of fresh vegetables, herbs and fruit.
Fill your Heart is a small, friendly Bramhall based business and owned and run by myself, Jess Hadfield. I first worked as a Professional Gardener for the National Trust at Ham House in London, before re-training as a designer. I’ve since worked on a number of residential projects. In June 2019, my ‘Think Again’ garden won a Silver Award at BBC Gardeners World Live.

Brilliant idea! Thank you for your inspiration and permission to get stuck in to my new garden project. A two-hour lesson with Jess has helped me focus on little projects and jobs I can get on with, while still holding on to the bigger picture. I’ve got bags of enthusiasm, but not a lot of knowledge and so having Jess offer me the confidence and permission to ‘go-for-it’ has been fab. Looking forward to working together again over the coming months.
We have a long narrow garden which is quite over grown, Jess has provided a great design layout which enhances the garden, making the most of existing plants and trees. She spent a long time in the garden assessing the soil/ and sun light and advising a plan which suited our needs. Jess is friendly, enthusiastic and her obvious love of gardens and plants comes through in her hard work, we look forward to recreating her design. I highly recommend her as a garden designer .
I recently had a 2 hour garden design consultation with Jess & I really can’t recommend her highly enough. Jess is incredibly experienced & knowledgable & has brilliant ideas on how to get the best out of your garden space whilst taking into consideration your own ideas & preferences. Jess did a number of different designs so that I could see the different ways that my garden can be transformed. Jess is a lovely, warm person which made the session even more enjoyable.
Jess was recommended to us, and was really pleased we decided to use Jess to get some help and advice on our garden. We have an interesting shaped garden, that over the years has become a bit unruly and lost its definition. Jess has taken into account all our suggestions and ideas and has created a whole new look for the garden using some existing shrubs, plants and materials but providing common themes Within the garden. Jess was absolutely brilliant. She created a planting plan which really worked in the space and also took into account ongoing maintenance. Jess was then also able to source and plant the beds for us which was the real end to end service we were looking for.
