Technology is all around us these days, and it can be really useful – but sometimes, it can seem baffling… and often, traditional retailers and repairers don’t have the time to help people to use it.  James offers to visit you in your home, at your place of work… or even over a coffee, for portable devices! – to provide friendly advice and/or training on setting up and using lots of different types of tech equipment.  Alternatively, you can pass on the hassle and leave everything to him! – for things like swapping your mobile phone handset, setting up a new computer for your needs, or programming a smart device.

James can help out with setting up and using a wide range of technology:

* iPads / iPhones (setting up / swapping / tuition)

* Internet safety (filtering systems / Family Sharing etc)

* Computers / internet / peripherals such as printers or scanners

* Backing up photos or other valuable data to hard drives or to the cloud

* TV / video / satellite / smart speakers / hi-fi

* PA systems and DMX lighting

* Central heating programming

* Online banking systems

* School portals / payment systems

* Multi-factor authentication systems…

… and much more, so if your problem isn’t listed here, please feel free to contact him anyway – if he can’t help you, it will cost you nothing!

Appointments are normally available during the following times:

* Monday-Friday 10am-8pm

* Saturday 10am-2pm

James and his family are based in Cheadle Hulme.  Until recently, for 13 years, he was an IT support technician at a local independent school, during which time they became an Apple Distinguished School and an Apple Regional Training Centre.  Before that, James worked for 10 years at the UK’s biggest and busiest hi-fi, TV and home cinema retailer.  He’s also been a professional mobile DJ for the last 15 years!  So he has a huge amount of experience with lots of different technology.

James charges £50 per hour, with a minimum charge of one hour.  No charge is made for travelling time within the Greater Manchester and Cheshire areas of the UK.  Gift vouchers are available!
