Hello!

My name is Nicola/Nikki/Nic (I’m not fussy) and I’m a 31 year old secondary school English teacher who now tutors full time!

I live in Gatley with my husband, 18 month old son and my cockapoo, Teddy. I love musicals, going to the theatre and spending time in my favourite place, The Lake District.

I have a First Class Honours Degree in English & Education Studies and have been teaching for nearly 10 years. I spent the last 8 years teaching English at a large secondary school in Stockport where I was also the Whole School Wellbeing Lead. I left my job in October 2023 to tutor full time and to be able to spend more time with my son.

I am extremely passionate about the mental health and wellbeing of young people and use my experience of helping students in this area to be an empathetic, encouraging and enthusiastic tutor. I strive to build confidence in my students while providing them with the tools needed to access and enjoy the English curriculum.
