I started off buying old houses that needed work and renovating them myself to sell but I now also do a lot of work for other people. Before that I worked as a damp proof and anti-condensation engineer on properties all over the country. I’ve also worked as a kitchen designer and fitter for a large kitchen company. I’m a trained graphic designer, so have a very keen eye for details and colours which comes in really handy for lots of elements of my work.
I do a lot of Kitchen and Bathroom repairs and replacements, decorating, plaster repairs, interior colour scheme design, tiling, decking, pointing repairs, also small window and glass replacement and many other jobs around the home. The only part of the house I don’t cover is roofing. I also do a lot of those small annoying jobs around the house that a lot of other firms will not do. I have a flat day rate for all the work that I do, so you always know where you stand. I do however require a minimum half a day’s work.
Would just like to recommend Rejuvenate Decorators whom I hired through this directory. I found Andrew to be a really honest, reliable guy & he did a really good job. He does all sorts of other work too!

Andrew has done a great job of redecorating a very old tired looking sitting room. It involved removing lots of layers of wallpaper, smoothing the walls, removing an old arch and fireplace, replacing dado rail and finally painting. He was always reliable, friendly and knowledgable on the job, would defiitely recommend.
