At Sophie Dee School of Dance we are passionate about bringing the performing arts to everyone. Whether you’re looking for recreational dance to escape reality or professional tuition we have classes and courses to suit all ages and abilities. Our dedicated studio caters to all – from age one upwards, we’re here to support you on your dance journey with classes for adults, children and tots.

When you start your journey with us, you won’t need to go anywhere else to learn the performing arts, we offer all styles of dance – and straight away you become part of our close-knit community which has a warm, family feel. Many of our dancers stay and progress with us – starting as babies or young children and continuing to age 18, with the freedom to explore the performing arts with us either as a hobby or with a view to a professional future.

Excellence is at the heart of all that we do, with all classes delivered to the highest standards by our fantastic teaching faculty. The school is split into age and ability-appropriate groups, starting with our Sophie Dee Bumble Bee Lower School Programme for 12 months to year 1 in school. When in year 2 at school our Bees graduate into our main school where students can move into structured grades and syllabuses.

Adults, younger students and little ones alike have the opportunity to participate in shows, exams, competitions and events, including performance opportunities within the local community.

For those looking to train to elite competition level our expert team offer dedicated support and tuition right through to college entry and auditions, with all styles of dance, LAMDA and singing available.

Our holistic, comprehensive approach to performing arts also includes a wide range of complementary support – including our wellbeing coach who provides help with anxiety, mindset and nutrition.
