Beautifully refurbished country pub, family owned and run, serving a fresh food menu, fine ales, wines, spirits and cocktails. We are committed to great food and excellent service, no request is too much trouble. With spaces ranging from cosy drinking corners, a dedicated restaurant and two outdoor dining areas, The Crown is a great place for families, friends and couples. Furry friends are welcome in the bar area! The bar area regularly hosts musical entertainment to add to your dining or drinking experience.
We also have a semi-private area which can be booked for events such as christenings, anniversaries, baby showers, or more formal occasions such as funerals and corporate events.
Enjoyed lunch here today. The food is excellent we had three courses. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. The place is clean and the decor pleasant. Very good measures in place for social distancing and hand santizers on the wall were automatic dispensers. Thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing visit – would recommend !

Excellent food. Really tasty. I’ve been a few times and the staff are always very welcoming. Attentive but not intrusive. It’s a little out of my way but I’m happy to make the trip as it’s always a good experience. Most visits have been at lunch when the place is busy but food always arrives in a timely manner and hot despite how busy they are. It’s a lovely place and I highly recommend.
